Emile Cohl Atelier’s scholarship selection process is based upon a highly regarded cognitive test which assess applicants’ skill sets in relation to personality, and motivation. The first step in this process consists of creating an account on SlideRoom and selecting the desired certificate Track – Storyboard Artist or Vis Dev Artist, or both! All portfolio questions should include links to any websites or social media platforms where public access is granted. Please note private or password protected sites will not be considered. Instagram, ArtStation, and personal websites are preferred. These sources should include work that accurately reflects multidisciplinary skillsets, cognitive abilities and talent. In the second step, all eligible candidates will be asked to take a soft skills assessment. The third step allots remaining candidates the opportunity of a rigorous skills assessment based upon their chosen Track. Lastly, in the fourth step the remaining candidates will be asked to send a self-recorded video for our selection panel to identify motivated applications. Guidelines for the video will be shared during the selection process. The final candidates will be offered a seat in the following semester.
